About Us
Beyond The Bark partners with like-minded organizations to improve the lives of both dogs and humans. Our goal is to rescue dogs from euthanasia and place them in the care of people who need rescuing themselves. We also aim to transform the lives of these individuals by teaching them accountability, responsibility, and valuable skills in the pet industry.
We achieve this by placing dogs in facilities where they can live safely in the care of the residents while receiving basic training. Professional dog trainers work with the residents to build a connection between them and their dogs. This entire process promotes accountability and responsibility and helps the dog handlers build confidence and develop valuable skills that can be used to transform their futures.
